Who lies more in a sales situation: the buyer or the seller?

Bad answer from a bad salesman: “buyers r liars”

Tough reply to a bad answer:

That’s a cop-out.

Buyers say salespeople are liars.

We, as professionals, must meet our prospects where they are.

We must adjust how we sell to match how the prospect buys.

If you are getting the same objection, it’s because you’re inviting it.

If you are getting the same results, i.e., prospects ghost on you, it’s because you’re inviting it.

You’re like a quarterback who looks left…pump fakes left…steps left…pats the ball three times as he’s staring left…then finally throws the ball only to be intercepted then he goes to the coach and screams, “SEEEE????!!! WE CAN’T THROW LEFT ON THIS TEAM!!!!”

Buyers only lie to salespeople they don’t trust.

So when you say, “buyers r liars,” that tells me a lot more about you than you probably wanted to admit.

Market like you mean it.

Now go sell something.
